Notes: The front airbags were redesigned for 2001 -- altered into dual-stage models. Also, new gadgets and standard leather seating were provided. Showing their trademark ingenuity, Volvo introduced a new Executive model for 2001. In the S80 T6 Executive, the rear seats are pushed back without changing any of the car's external dimensions. Removal of the split-folding seat system facilitates this process. Thus, greater legroom is available, and a center console replaces the middle seat. For this greater comfort, Volvo added about $5500 to the cost of a T6.
