Notes
After significant updates for 2003, few changes were made to the MR2 for 2004.
Indeed, the only change of note was the availability of a limited-slip rear
differential on the options list. While the MR2 Spyder (called the MR-S in some
markets) had a loyal following, it was still overshadowed by cars like the
omnipresent Mazda Miata, which could not match the MR2's mid-engined mystique,
but offered greater convenience and daily useability.
