Notes
Having been redesigned only a year ago, few changes were made to the Camry for 2003.
Keyless entry was added to the already lengthy standard equipment list on the base
LE model, and the top XLE model added fog lights and the 6-disc in-dash CD changer.
Option packages were slightly juggled, and power-adjustable pedals became optional
for automatic-equippped models -- a feature not even found on many luxury nameplates.
While the Camry offered a navigation system, it was not compatible with the in-dash
CD changer (they couldn't both fit in the dash), so when specified in the XLE model,
the CD changer had to be removed to make room (although the premium sound system
remained). A cure was available as an accessory from Toyota: a different 6-disc
changer could be mounted in the trunk to permit both navigation and multiple-CD-play.
