2002 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class
Body style(s): 2-door hardtop sedan
Trim Levels: CL500, CL55 AMG, CL600
MSRP range: $91,415-$119,615
Notes: Only detail changes marked the CL-Class for 2002, after its
offerings were tripled in 2001. The car retained its striking silhouette,
perpetuating a hardtop design and remaining safe as well. The CL55 AMG
remained the sportster of the bunch, although at over two tons, it
did not exactly out-turn Ferraris. Still, it was meant for performance,
while the CL600 maintained a smoother, more elegant approach to
touring.
