Notes: With costs rising much faster than sales, the Q45 became the
first Infiniti product to breach the $60,000 barrier in 2003. A six-disc
in-dash CD player became standard this year. Also, the final drive ratio
was bumped to 3.13:1 to increase performance. The Q45 earned LEV certification
this year. Also, the lonely flagship got a cousin: the high-power M45
arrived, sharing the chassis and engine, but geared more toward performance
than luxury.
